The sound of the machines that never goes away, the last thing I hear at night and the gentle breath that greets me when I wake up before anyone else. Like the sigh of the wind through ancient tree-bound mountains, with flashing leds and un-set clocks.

My mom used to read it to me so often that we both still have it memorized. I learned how to read with that book. So this is awesome. I’ve read some other interviews with him before and he’s such a badass cranky old man. I love it. Maurice Sendak is the absolute best.

Where The Wild Things Are was my favorite book when I was a kid. My mom used to read it to me so often that we both still have it memorized. I learned how to read with that book. So this is awesome. I’ve read some other interviews with him before and he’s such a badass cranky old man. I love it.

Maurice Sendak is the absolute best.
